| Goat Island Light House is located in Cape Porpoise, not far from where we stayed in Kennebunkport, Maine. Kennebunkport is now nationally recognized because a famous president lives there, the elder George Bush. But Kennebunkport is a beautiful little town, with shops and restaurants well worth a visit. We stayed here one year during our beach vacation. The beach truly was our vacation, because that nearly describes everything we did. The Kennebunkport area has several fine beaches, where people from all around go to vacation. One evening, we visited Goat Island Light House in Cape Porpoise. We were struck by how beautiful the setting is. The harbor is a great little place to grab a lobster roll and sit and watch the boats sail in and out. After a lazy day on the beach, this was a great place to end another day of our vacation.
